How Vos Kost works

1. Every day around 12 PM we read the prices each store already shows on its own public website. Every item a store lists is here; ones only one store sells say "Only at" that store.
2. We line up the same product: first by barcode (or the store system's own product number), and only if that's missing, by the exact same name and size. Name matches are marked name.
3. Pick one region or tick several (All NY, All NJ, All stores). When 2 or more of the stores you picked carry it, you see their prices side by side. Different sizes are never ranked against each other. Use the unit price (per oz, per lb, per count) to compare sizes.
4. Sale prices are shown the way the store lists them, with its regular price crossed out.
5. 💎 Gems: the day's (and week's) biggest real savings in your regions, everyday basics first.
6. A price that looks like a different pack (say, a case under the same barcode) is greyed out and kept out of totals.
7. My list adds up each store's price for what it carries and tells you what it's missing.

Website prices can differ from the shelf, and some stores need a minimum order for online prices. Always confirm with the store.
